O*NET 六种工作价值观是什么,它和职业兴趣有何不同,为什么卡片排序要逼你取舍,以及为什么只有排第一的那项才可靠。

很多人离职,并不是因为工作内容没意思,而是钱不到位、领导不靠谱,或者事事都要请示。俗话说“钱多事少离家近”,每个人心里对这几样的排序都不一样——这就是工作价值观:不是你喜欢做什么,而是工作必须回馈你什么。

下面介绍我们的工作价值观卡片排序怎么运作,以及如何诚实地解读它。

一句话定义

工作价值观描述一个人需要从工作中得到什么才会感到满意,这与他喜欢做什么活动是两回事。本测评使用美国劳工部发布的 O*NET 工作重要性定位器(Work Importance Locator),通过 20 张卡片排序,对六种工作价值观进行排名:成就、独立、认可、人际关系、支持和工作条件。其分数是自比式(ipsative)的——只在你自己的各项价值观之间排序,而不是与他人比较。

六种工作价值观

本测评采用美国劳工部发布的 O*NET 工作重要性定位器,共 20 张卡片。

  • ✦成就:发挥自己的能力,看到成果。
  • ✦独立:自主开展工作、自己拿主意。
  • ✦认可:晋升机会、声望和被看见。
  • ✦人际关系:融洽的同事,以及服务他人的工作。
  • ✦支持:领导撑腰、管理公平而专业。
  • ✦工作条件:薪酬、稳定性和良好的工作环境。

为什么每一列必须恰好放四张卡

如果只问“这一项重要吗”,几乎所有人都会说几乎都重要。六个都很高的分数,无法告诉你真正愿意舍弃什么。强制分布正是这份量表的设计本意,不是网站的限制。

这也意味着分数是自比式的:只在你自己的六项价值观之间排序。“支持”得分高,说明你把它排在自己其他价值观之前,而不是说你比一般人更看重支持。

看排第一的,别纠结中间

在出版方自己的研究中,学生间隔两个月重测,排第一的价值观有 62% 的情况保持一致,但单项分数的稳定性要低得多。用户手册的结论是:这个工具适合找出你最看重的那一项,不应用来给六项完整排序。把榜首当信号,把中段当噪音。

该问卷已于 2024 年 6 月被美国劳工部停用;我们用来匹配职业的职业端工作价值观评分,仍是现行 O*NET 数据库的一部分。

    The source of the card-to-value mapping and the multipliers that put all six values on a common 6–30 scale. It also reports the instrument's own validation: over a two-month interval the top-ranked value repeated 62% of the time, but per-value correlations ran only .35 (Achievement) to .58 (Support). The guide's own conclusion is that the WIL supports identifying a person's highest work value and 'should not be used by clients to determine the rank order or profile of all six'. This result page says the same thing.

    The licence this implementation is built under. The web card-sorting board is an adaptation, so it falls under the O*NET Tools Developer License rather than the no-derivatives option. Northstarself has modified this tool; USDOL/ETA has not approved, endorsed, or tested the modification.
